A great vocal performance starts hours before you step on stage. These five exercises are designed to wake up your voice gently and build long-term vocal stamina.
1. Lip Trills
A gentle way to get the air flowing and the vocal folds vibrating without strain. Do this for 2 minutes every morning.
2. Humming
Focused humming helps in 'placing' the voice in the mask area, ensuring resonance and reducing throat tension.
3. Tongue Twisters (Musical)
Use simple scales to sing tongue twisters. This improves articulation and mental agility.
