Building a Home Practice Sanctuary: Setting the Vibe

If you have to 'fight' your environment to practice, you won't do it. Your practice space should pull you in.

1. The Low-Friction Rule

Keep your instrument on a stand, not in a case. Keep your music books open. The less time it takes to start, the more often you will play. This is a vital tip for Music class for adults with busy schedules.

2. Lighting and Atmosphere

Harsh office lighting kills creativity. Use warm, soft lights or even LED strips to set the 'Vibe.' Your Online Vocal Class will feel much more like a performance if the environment feels sacred.

3. A Digital-Free Zone (mostly)

While you need your laptop for Online music classes, turn off all notifications. Your practice room should be a sanctuary from the noise of the world, a place where 'Sukoon' (peace) reigns.
